Dental Care Professionals

Welcome to website specifically for Dental Care Professionals.

There are approximately 5000 DCP's in Scotland who consist of hygienists, therapists, hygienist-therapists, nurses, dental technicians, oral health promoters & educators, practice managers and receptionists.

Two new groups of professionals are about to join this group, namely clinical dental technicians and orthodontic therapists.

This is a very exciting time for dental care professionals as a number of significant changes are taking place. The purpose of this website is to:-

• Provide a forum from which issues relating to each DCP group may be addressed
• Offer guidance on matters relating to professional practice
• Discuss points of interest, and
• Encourage dialogue between individuals

We hope that the development of this website will be of benefit to the DCP population living and working in Scotland.

However, to make this successful and interesting interactive site, your input is essential! There are a number of different sections and links to other related sites., e.g:
