There is a comprehensive programme of Section 63 courses run under the auspices
of NHS Education for Scotland (NES). There
is something for everyone - ranging from lecture programmes, hands-on courses
through to personal development plans which are currently being evaluated.

PRIVATELY FUNDED CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES

For those dentists looking for smaller group teaching, the Postgraduate Dental
Institute offers a range of shorter courses with the busy practitioner in
mind. These are limited attendance courses usually with a significant practical
component. They make use of the excellent teaching facilities including the
Kavo Clinical Skills Laboratory.
These courses will provide prior reading material for participants so that
best use can be made of the days.
