The Edinburgh Postgraduate Dental Institute currently has 2 GPT and 2 Vocational
Training schemes managing a total of 30 trainees. The Postgraduate centre is
located on the 4th floor, one floor above the new Edinburgh Dental Hospital.
The facilities here are complemented by a RGPVTA and an experienced team of advisers.

There are 4 course organisers for Trainers and VDPs. They work with the RGPVTA
in the recruitment and selection of trainers, VDPs and GPTs. Additionally, they
organise and administer the day-release courses and monitor the professional
development of the VDPs and GPTs by close liaison with the Trainers.
